I have always had a keen interest in my own health and fitness and that of others, and I am proud to have pursued this interest and built my career around it working as a personal trainer across the Wetherby, Harrogate and York area.
At a young age, I started to study the science behind fitness training in order to keep myself in shape, I found it fascinating and something I was really passionate about so I later went on to study a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University. This experience enabled me to gain a vast amount of up to date scientific knowledge that I am now able to use on a day to day basis to maximise results from personal training sessions for my clients.
After working in gyms as a personal trainer I decided in 2011 to fly solo and set up my own personal training business based across the Wetherby area. After months of planning everything was in place and then in 2012, I launched a whole series of new exercise classes across Wetherby, Harrogate and York area.
Today, I continue to work as a Personal Trainer across the area working with individuals, couples & groups of friends, and in September 2014 I launched Principal Fitness at Boston Spa School providing exercise classes & group PT studio sessions.
I pride myself in taking a structured, motivating and varied approach to personal training whether it is on a one to one basis or in a group session. I understand it is not only important to get the results, but it is also important to stay motivated and on track to reach your goal. In particular, I specialise in helping clients with their weight loss / fat loss goals. I’ve worked hard to get where I am and I love my job and working with such a vast range of people. Not a day goes by without me thinking how lucky I am to have such job satisfaction.
